Highlighting

Any text on a page can be highlighted.

  1. Select the Text Highlight buttonfrom the top toolbar.
  2. Choose a colour from the options provided in the highlight pop-up box.
  3. Highlight the desired text using your cursor.
  4. Select the Text Highlight button again when you have finished highlighting.

To change the colour of an existing highlight, select the Text Highlight button and then hover your cursor over the highlighted text until the highlight pop-up box appears. Select a new colour.

To delete a highlight, select the Eraser button from the top toolbar and then select the highlight you wish to delete. Alternatively, select the Text Highlight button and then hover your cursor over the highlighted text until the highlight pop-up box appears. Select the Trash icon from the highlight pop-up box.

Pen

The pen tool allows you to draw on the page.

  1. Select the Pen buttonfrom the top toolbar.
  2. Select your desired colour from the options provided in the pop-up menu.
  3. Draw on the page with your cursor.
  4. Select the Pen buttonagain when you have finished drawing.

To delete pen marks, select the Eraser buttonfrom the top toolbar and then select the pen mark you wish to delete.

Notes

Notes can be added to any page. You can place a note anywhere on the page.

  1. Select the Add a Note button from the top toolbar.
  2. Select the desired location on the page for the note.
  3. Add text to the note.
  4. Select the Cross button or click/tap anywhere outside of the note to save.

To read a note, hover your cursor over the Note icon.

To edit or delete a note, double click/tap the note icon to open the note pop-up window. From here you can edit the text or select Delete to delete the note.

Bookmarks

The Bookmark button is located in the top toolbar. Select Bookmark to add a bookmark to the page. The Add Bookmark window will display with the current page number. Enter a name or a note for the bookmark and then select Add.

To view a list of your bookmarks, select Bookmarks from the sidebar. Select a bookmark from the list to go to the bookmarked page or select the Cross icon to delete the bookmark.

Notepad

The Notepad is a place where you can create notes that you want to access from a central location and print. Select the Notepad button from the top toolbar and the Notepad window will appear.

There are various formatting options in the Notepad window’s bottom toolbar, including text colour, text alignment and hyperlink. To format text, highlight the text you wish to format and then select the desired formatting option. To hyperlink text, highlight the text in the Notepad and enter the hyperlink into the http:// box in the bottom toolbar.

The Plus button in the top toolbar enters the current page number in the Notepad text field.

Select Print from the top toolbarto open your operating system’s Print dialogue box. From there, you can print your notes and usually save your notes as a PDF.

Select Copy All from the top toolbar to copy all Notepad text to your system’s clipboard. You can then paste the text into another program, such as Word or Pages.

To save your notes and close the Notepad window, click/tap outside of the window or select the Cross buttonin the upper-right corner.
