The topic panel has five sections:

  • Student eMagazines: access the three levelled Student eMagazines and their embedded audio file.
  • Teacher eCompanion: access the Teacher eCompanion, along with associated resources.
  • Topic eBooks: access the fiction and non-fiction Topic eBooks.

Resource compatibility

eBooks: eBooks will open on any PC or Mac running Flash Player v11 or higher. If the eBook will not open in your PC or Mac browser, you may need to update Flash Player. If you're using an iPad, the platform will prompt you to open or download the Pearson Primary eBook app. eBooks are not compatible with Android, iPhone or Windows Phone.

Games: The games will open in any modern browser, including on iPad and Android tablets (using the Chrome app, not the Internet app). On PC and Mac, we recommend the latest version of Chrome. However, Internet Explorer 10 or higher, Safari 5 or higher and the latest version of Firefox are also suitable.

Other: Other resources such as video, audio and PDFs will open in any of the above mentioned browsers. You may need to install Adobe Reader to open the PDFs.
