Experiencing issues while accessing your eBook on your Laptop or Mac?

If you are currently experiencing issues while accessing your eBook on your Laptop or Mac and you are receiving this error message:

“Are you on an iPad? Tap here to get the eBook app! “ Your browser has been updated and is blocking access to Flash. Please tap here to get instructions on how to enable Flash on your device and access your eBooks.

If you are getting the above error message, please check the below:

  • Check for browser updates. The links to the instructions can be found here.
  • If the error is due to Flash blocking access within Chrome follow the steps below-
    1. Type the following in the address bar: chrome://settings/content
    2. Scroll down to ‘Flash’.
    3. Select ‘Allow sites to run Flash’.
    4. Select ‘Done’ at the bottom left of the window.
    5. Visit pearsonplaces.com.au, login with your existing username and password.Your eBooks should be displaying normally now.
    6. If they are not displaying correctly, please try clearing the browser cache - find instructions here.
